  1. I once saw a TV documentary about a woman who thought she was a reincarnation of a  priestess who served Isis and went to live on the site of an ancient temple to Isis.

When she died, she had to be buried there as neither the Muslims nor the Christians in Egypt wanted her in their cemeteries

  2. Justinian (Byzantine emperor) closed the last Egyptian temple, at the island of Philae (south of Egypt, around today's Aswan dam - there's a life-size copy in the Natural History museum, Chicago) in the 6th century ad.

  3. Apparently no. I have an Egyptian friend and he said not only he doesn't even know any body doing those ancient stuff, Egyptians doesn't even have their own language, they speak Arabic!!!LOL

  4. No, those gods and those practices died many years ago. Egypt is about 90 percent or so Muslim, for the most part Sunni. The other percentages are Christian and Jewish. But, Rah is no more.
