  1. No. Hormones are released into the blood, and by definition, exocrine glands produce substances that are released from ducts onto epithelial surfaces (tears, sweat, digestive enzymes). The pancreas has both types of CELLS (exocrine cells called acinar cells, and endocrine cells of the Islets of Langerhans) but it is not strictly an exocrine gland or an endocrine gland.
