  1. If you mean rain damage, and hail, yes.   If you mean floods, no.

    In the US you need to get Flood insurance that is sold by insurance agents but issued by the US government.


  2. I've never seen any DAMAGE from a cloud attack.  

    On the standard homeowners policy, all damage is covered, except that which is excluded.   "Cloud attack" is NOT excluded.  

    For commercial policies, that would be a "special" form property policy, which also does not exclude "cloud attack".

    So yes, DAMAGE from a "cloud attack" would be covered on one of those policies.
