Do any insurance companies offer one year policies?

because im paying 201 a month at Geico

  1. sure a lot of companies will write you for a year policy.  if you don't pay it in full you still have to pay every month though.

The term of the policy has very little effect on the premium.  If you are paying $201 per month for a six month policy that totals $1206.  If an annual policy cost $2412, the monthly would still be $201.  Another factor to consider is if you have activity on your driving record that will fall off in the next six months.  If so, and you lock your rate for one year, you will actually come out hurting yourself.

    I'm not a fan of Geico.  I would recommend that you shop around to see if you can get a better rate.
