Do any mariner tell me actually, how a deck cadet will be treated on the ships

as a deck cadet, you will be treated fairly and squarely ... just do your chores as expected and there will be no trouble ...

accommodation for all deck personnel is comfortable ... same with food ....

be respectful to deck officers ... as well as you have to respect all other deck cadets ... and don't do any stupid stuff like over drinking, especially petty thievery ...

be prepared for some lonely moments away from your family ...

Just remember you are at the bottom of the food chain... so keep your mouth and your opinions to yourself... do what you are told... and respect others... ESPECIALLY the officers.
