Do any of you believe the end of the world is near?

this is not to scare any1 but i have a feeling it is close because another strong earthquake has hit columbia, and this has been the year of most earthquakes. i believe its near.. do any of you???

No. I'm sure people thought in centuries ago during the Little Ice Age that they thought the world was going to get into a cold spell, causing deaths of millions. That said, just because there are a higher amount of earthquakes doesn't mean the world is near its end. The world goes through cycles of irregular weather from time to time.

The myan calander states that the end of the world will be on 12/21/2012, and they havnt been wrong for thousands of years presdicting the exact times of eclipses and such. The earths magnetic feild will reverse.

some people believe that in 2012 there will be a lot of major disasters and they say its supposed to be like the beginning of the new world and that at first it would be bad but then good....but i heard the same thing for 2000 and we are still here

Yes people say so i think so it's possible only when a meteor hit the earth coz that how dinosaurs were extinct ,the same way humans too!

Coz world is big for a flood,earthquake,volcanos to kill every single person!

Though it's a scary thought,I really do believe that Planet Earth will soon vanish. It could occur because of Global warming,Meteor impact,The Black hole and many more. The chances of that happening is about 50-50. If this does occur it might happen in about 200 years from now or later. Going green would be nice,but even if everyone did that,we still wouldn't be able to stop global warmimg. The temperatures are rising off the scale. Maybe that's why were having a thunder storm in Oregon right now,Earthquakes in China,and tornadoes in Oklahoma.

Eventually when Earth does go bye-bye,thousands of years later Earth will be reborn again=]

No. For thousands upon thousands of years humans have predicted the end, it's just human nature to believe something is going to c**p out early or that there is a "higher being". Global warming is just a scarey story Al gore uses to scare people around camp fires, like mentioned above the world goes through many different climate changes and over our short life span here on earth it just makes it seem drastic, we never see the entire picture. As for the mayan calender, they have predicted all the solstices and other astrology matters simply because it's a continuous cycle with little room for error. Example - Red,red,green. Red, red, green, Red, red ____. What is the next color in this sequence? Sorry but the world is not going to end, humanity however might. We have built many different ways to wipe ourselves off this rock and one day it might happen.
