I've been reading a lot about it. Wondering how many people do it and how safe it is.

  1. i have heard about it, but have not checked it out as of yet.  Like someone else said, meet the person in a public place, never at your own home.

  2. you don't have to meet the people in your home you can meet at a public place. or if you are going to meet at home have your husband, brother or Friend with you, and it also depends were you live.

  3. I love freecycle, and yes, it's safe. I have received numerous wonderful items from this service, and also given away items that would have otherwise ended up in landfills. The simplest items, like a single towel can be given away/received, as well as large, complicated stuff. I got my huge, 50 gallon terrarium that makes a wonderful home for my turtle via freecycle...it would have cost me over $200 to buy it new!

  4. I tryed giveing away a no bark dog collar BRAND new drove 15 miles to meet lady she never showed. still got it unused.

  5. I tried to ride a broom but i couldn't get it started

  6. Yes One time I went to camp and i helped the whole forest. But my brother daniel does that everyday .collects 50 and recycles it.

  7. I like it. Freecycler beware, though. I have given away tropical fish in a Target parking lot. I have left out a computer monitor on the entry of my house so the taker could not come inside to see what I have. I love freecycle.
