Do any of you have a teacher like this?

Question

My english teacher from last year is my homeroom teacher this year.

Last wednesday we had a senior assembly, it started at 7:30 and school starts at 7:20, I came to school in time for the assembly and the assembly let out 30 mins before the next class started so my friends and I went to sonic and got slushies(fast food).

We came back right as homeroom was ended.

Friday I went to talk to my homeroom teacher, about nothing in general just for fun and he was like where were you homeroom the other day, so I told him.

He was like

A)Homeroom started before the assembly.

B) You owe me a slushie.

Anyone else have teachers as lenient as this?

Oh and he also was my public speaking teacher last year which I was suppose to fail but he passed me anyways because I brought him coffee.

Yeah I had one like that my junior year! it is pretty awesome because I could get away with almost anything!! Enjoy it while you can!!!

Yeah I had one like that . He wanted us to all be really close like friends. He still acted like an adult and never crossed the line, but he was really cool. Some teachers like to be known as the "cool" one "best." Be happy he is not mean!

my science teacher this year is like that. all he does is tell jokes all class and bearly teaches. the people who had him last year told me it sucked to have him cause u failed the midterm and the final though.

yeah, my health/gym teacher would let us come in late when we had her first if we got her hazel nut coffee from dunkin donuts

I had a teacher like that, but she played favorites and only did things like that for her favorites.

My homeroom teacher for 4 years was also my business teacher for a couple of classes. He was lenient, but also expected us to do our assignments and be responsible.  He and his wife chaperoned our proms and came to our grad parties. Years later I am fortunate to count them among my friends...

i love teachers like this. i have an rop teacher who is just like that. if u dont kno what rop is its just an after school class so you can make up credits. if u miss 3 days you dont get the credits. but yea anyway his name is whalen and we can bribe him with the giant monsters to not mark us absent when we were so we can still get credits. its probably the best class i have even tho it is three hours long.

its not good to have a lenient teacher....from my experience of teachers the strict ones are the best......they have better control of the class and for the ppl who put in alot of effort at ahool they aquire the grades they deserve..............

kinda hes my old science teacher and my fave teacher ever, i can wander in and out of class n h**l just be like where did you go n ill just say why n h**l say okayy, once i told him another kid had my hat n he found out what room he was in just to get it back hes awesome! he looks exactly like alan rickman and i can tell him that cause he doesnt care cause he likes me, he sings in the middle of class and hes a right laugh! your lucky to have this teacher for homeroom :)

No, because my teachers cared if I was learning, and getting a productive, knowledgeable education. If I was your parent, I would definatly be at the next school board meeting, filing a complaint against this irresponsible person, who claims to be a teacher.

no luckily i dont have teachers like this but i do have a teaher that i got 3 zeros in in 1 day the other day. you should talk to the principal so he/she wil get fired, there not supposed to use you like that.

omfg- my s.s. and math teacher is the same way- he teaches s.s. and math- he gave us a full 1 hour lesson on bribing and then the next day he mentioned who failed there term papers and then he asked one for brownies- the other for chocolate milk- and the other one for spinach puiffs- and now wen one of them failed again he didtn even asked- they jsut brought in the stuff and passed her

It seems to me like he is not doing his job. And he also seems like he is not doing his job. First I would confront him about your grade. If you know that you dont deserve the grade, than it is not worth you feeling guilty because of him. If he does not respond, talk to the principal. I'm sure he would get it straightened out.
