i can do to help others, and by this i mean like poor and helpless people.

Wow I don't think I'm either but would love for you to help me but that is not what your thinking of. This is such a hard one to answer. There are so many causes in the world where do you start. Sometimes in life people fall on misfortune so that they might learn certain lessons they need to advance spiritually. If you really want to help follow your heart for this is where this answer lies.

hospital, nursing home, homeless shelters, animals shelters, omg so many things around you that you can contact them.  More fun and adventure like national parks or museum or volunteering oversea. hope this help.
