Do any of you know as to why the New Zealand has dropped to its 10 month low against US dollar?

I tried to search web but could not find any probable good reason. kindly help...

  1. All currencies that are pegged against the US dollar has been going down, and it's not just the kiwi. Fundamentally, there is nothing wrong with the NZL economy, nor was there any drastic changes in the country's fiscal and monetary policies.

    If you asked "why the US dollar has been gaining strength?" then you will find out why the kiwi is relatively weaker to the USD.

  3. The Australian one has dropped about 5 cents to in the last week.

    I know two of the biggest financial lenders have gone broke in the US but I don't know if this is the cause but we're talking hundreds of billions here.
