I just read this in an ariticle and I wondered if any of you read or knew about it and what you all thought about what he said!!

Here's the quote...." There are alot of them that disrespect the sport week in and week out, they act like a bunch of 18 yr. old punks, which most of them probally are, they just need to grow up!"

Who said it and what do you think about it?

  1. Sounds like something Kasey Kahne would say...that guy has a mouth on him, don't he?

  2. Didn't Kyle Busch say that?

  3. My Man Kevin!

  4. Kevin Harvick would be the one.  lol

I think he is oh!  Soooo Riiiight!  But you know what?  He's been there.  huh?

    I like Kevin, he's a good driver!

  5. Yeah I read that article.  Then realized it was Harvick (former suspendee and still big mouth) and proceeded to use it to line my bird cage.

  6. I think it was Harvick..

funny if it was, I've seen him act like an 18 year old punk on more than one occassion.

  7. I don't know, but if I were to guess, I'd say either Bobby Hamilton Jr., or Robby Gordon.

And, at least I have some respect for Robby Gordon... :P

  8. I am not surprised Kevin said that....he is very opinionated and don't care who knows.  I like the guy. he desperatly needs a win but I think he is one who doesn't shoot from the hip and usually is pretty spot on with his comments.

  9. happy harvick

  10. my other favorite driver kevin harvick

  11. Harvick.  I think he talking to/about Kyle Busch.

  12. To my Knowledge it was Kevin in the same rant he gave about the new car and they all just needed to learn how to drive it

  13. Kevin Harvick isn't impressed with the attitudes of some of the young drivers who have arrived in NASCAR in the last few years. After a meeting on Friday in which NASCAR president Mike Helton asked drivers to complain less and be more mindful of the economic woes affecting fans, Harvick said Saturday that a lot of the grousing is coming from drivers who haven't been around long. "There are a lot of them that disrespect the sport week in and week out and they act like a bunch of 18-year-old punks, which most of them probably are, and they just need to grow up," Harvick said.

I think he's got the right idea.

    go Jr.>>>>

  14. he's right

but he needs to remember he was once 1 two

  15. Kevin Harvick

Right on!!! Youngsters have no rspect

  16. sound like something tony or dale would say.... i agree with them! these young kids just do not understand the true meaning of NASCAR and what it means to us rednecks!

  17. I was kinda surprised that this came out of Harvick, but it did. Harvick has been know to act like the punks also.. But Kevin does have a good point.. But then everybody is complaining right now.. Maybe after the meeting the drivers will lighten up a bit...Being 140 degrees in those firesuits doesn't help your opinions a lot of the time...

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  18. kevin harvick said it.i cant believe a guy who got parked for a  cup race because he told his crew while racing in a truck race he was going to wreck somebody and did it.he should think before he speaks.

  19. I read a similar article when they were talkin' about drug testing. It isn't the first time he's brought it up. Yes, it was Kevin Harvick. He is right too nowdays these kids don't realize that they have the chance of a lifetime to get into NASCAR and they could care less. Wish I had that chance.

    Great question RackPurdue...have a star!

    Peace n smiles :~))
