Do any one know what the Sacred Lily of India is. I believe it's a tree tha grows from a bulb, not a flower.

Are you thinking of Amorphophallus rivieri?  It's an herb, not a tree.

Lotus is the Indian national flower and considered sacred but its not a tree....some sacred trees in India: the banyan tree, the bodhi tree the ashoka tree......
