This is just a question out of curiousity. I noticed that I do this after I cleaned her room last nite.

  1. Ha.... I was thinking about that the other day.  I tell the little one how important it is to keep things  nice and clean..... that I don't ever get around to making my room spotless.

  2. well his room is my room so nope there both spotless lol

  3. OMG - yes, I do. I have so many other areas of the house to worry about my bedroom is always last on the list. If I can get to it before I collapse from exhaustion  great, if not that's ok too.

  4. I did...and I remember my parents doing it too...but a while ago I realised it and spent a few quid doing it up...now it's nice...and my daughter sees it as a second haven for her...I like it and so does she and it sends the right message out to her.

  5. No!!! I have OCD and I can't stand a dirty room. My room, and all my kid's rooms are always clean!!

  6. This is so me!

I slave away at my kids' rooms and just let mine go.

LOL...I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one.

  7. yes and i can't wait til they can clean their own rooms!

  8. Nope my kids room is their responsibility.

  9. my room is a disaster because i spend more time cleaning in the living room, kitchen and dinning room and sometimes help them with their room (although at their age they should pick up most by themselves) so my room gets neglected big time then when i tell them to keep the other rooms clean they end up playing in my room which just makes it worse.  Now with a baby on the way my room is filled with baby stuff too.

  10. Me too.  I want their room to be tidy so they have room to play.  I just cant seem to keep up and get it all together!

  11. my mom's room is cleaner than ours actually. of course our floor's barely visible so that's not saying much.

  12. More often than not, Yes my kids rooms are cleaner. I consider my room the last room on the cleaning list. When the house is clean I tend to just ignore my room....its kind of the catch all room.
