  1. put their work on bulletin boards...

  2. Some good ways to share what preschool aged children are doing in class?  I'm assuming you want to share this with the parents mainly?

    - One way is to document a project or unit through photographs and simple written summaries posted on the walls or bulletin boards alongside or instead of the childrens' art-type work.   Ex -  you might have a photo of the teacher reading a book "Very Hungry Caterpillar" to the class, photos of the kids making Caterpillar paintings, and then the painting themselves all hung together with a sign explaining what the project was.

    - Videos ("Home Movies"). You could show these at a Parent Night or have copies  to give or even loan out

    - School or class Newsletters

    - Day or Evening Parent Meetings or Open House

    - Web postings on your school site or start your own Yahoo Group for families in your program.

  3. A lot of people are now doing scrapbooks,

I usually did collections of different artifacts and later turned these into a collage.

I also saved drawings that my kids did at school, I would frame these and hang these up on my wall.

I would also save any holiday activities that my kids did at school such as Christmas trees; scan these, & make Christmas cards and send them to the family & friends.

Hope this is of great help to you.  Happy Holidays!!
