  1. I'm allergic to milk, but I know you can get very high on THC(tetrahydracannibol)  Just ask Chelsea's mother, Barack Obama's running mate.  I once milked a dead cow!  I hate milk, my mother used to make me drink it laced w/ milk of magnesia..Yuuck!

  2. whats that!

  3. I am guessing your asking how to get the high total bacteria count down as opposed to asking how to get a high total bacteria count done. To get it down you need to take the information and decide if it is a matter of contamination from the environment of an unhealthy animal. Equipment needs to be cleaned/ sterilized to avoid outside contamination and the cooling process needs to be checked to make sure it is functioning the way it should. That will take care of high TBC with respect to environment. If the problem is with the animal though, that requires a qualitative analysis (exact bacteria) and you need to consult a vet. If the animal appears healthy then suspect the equipment but don't reject the vet out of hand. You need more information.

  4. Manure pollution is almost always the primary cause of high TBC if your cooling is adequate, being fast enough and  cold enough.

Incomplete washing of cows, failing to keep the cows clean enough so that handling does not contaminate the  equipment or the hands of the herds person.

Clean and frequently sterilized cleaning cloths are essential. One of the critical parts of course is never dropping the equipment onto a contaminated surface.

Cracked skin on teats will hold onto lots of bacteria. Teat tips not well cleaned are a problem.

To clean milkers, it is important to use bubbles to in effect ream out the lines carrying the milk. Bubbles move at much higher speed, so do a much better job of cleaning than will water.

One can introduce bubbles by slightly lifting the teat cups out of the water while drawing the liquid into the system.

Washing water should be either chlorinated or ozonated to ensure that the problem is not coming from a contaminated well.
