Viewing some footages of his fights you can see that there's no real punch that connects and you see his opponent falling without any reason. What do you think?

  1. Many of his early knockouts came from terrible opposition. He even at on point fought a poor unemployed coal miner that was just trying to make a buck. Some of his more high profile fights were definitely pre determined. Don King made sure of it. Especially when Tyson was fighting ANOTHER one of Don King's fighters. The "knockout" of Bruce Seldon came on a left hook that....... "never actually landed" shhhhhhhh!

When King didn't own the other fighter he made sure he hand picked the referee. The famous example of that of course was Tyson's 7th round "stoppage" of Ruddock. That one was so laughable even king couln't stop a controversy. Oh well, Don King and his buddy referee Richard Steele enjoyed it.

But then there were other tomato cans that Tyson fought that King knew no one would even question a staged outcome! Take a look at how Buster Mathis Jr gets knocked down.....then Buster Mathis gets up.......TOO SOON! Oh no! We can't have that! So the referee of course declares it a knockout. Tyson's comeback fight against the bumbling Peter Mcneily was something that King planned a full year before Tyson even got out of jail. Tyson had to become number 1 contender right away! But how? Lennox Lewis was next in line to be the WBC's number 1 contender. Don King would've rather shaved his head bald than let Tyson anywhere near Lewis! So what did Don King do? Simple. He paid a visit to his old buddy Jose Suliamon who was the chairman of the WBC{and oh by the way an old organized crime buddy of Don's back when Don was working for Cleveland bookies in the 60's} Presto! Peter Mcneily "magically" became the WBC'S number 1 contender! WOW! When the fight occured it was imperative that Tyson look like a "destroyer". Peter Mcneily got knocked down twice in the first round. The second time "the Irish Hurricane"LOL rose to his feet, he like Mathis rose too quickly. Mcneily's manager quickly threw in the towel to create the illusion of impending doom. Guess who was number 1 contender again. That's right little Mike Tyson!

In the Bruce Seldon fight for the WBA title the following year[that's right, I said WBA because Tyson was stripped by the courts for ducking Lennox Lewis}. Now Tyson needed another Title and it would be against ANOTHER fighter straight out of Don King's stable Bruce Seldon. Again Tyson was supposed to win in fantastic one round fashion. Everything went according to plan.............EXCEPT QUALITY REHEARSALS! Bruce Seldon saw Tyson load up for what was supposed to be the finishing left hook. Bruce dove for the ground as if he were hit by a grenade! Out for the count! But there was just one tiny problem. TYSON MISSED SELDON COMPLETELY! In fact he came about as close to landing that hook as Charles Manson will ever get close to dating Charlez Theron! Oh wait. Manson might get closer to Theron. They're both on the west coast.

Thankfully 9 weeks later in a contracted fight that Mike could not get out of Evander Holyfield viciosly and unmercifully ENDED the Tyson, comeback cherade.

One final note. Tyson was ALWAYS protected and coddled. Even when you look back at Bill Caton promoted fights before King took over, this pattern existed. Tyson's fight with Jesse Ferguson was "corrected" EHEM...from disqualification to a "magical" knockout to PROTECT Tyson's "knockout" streak.

In the final anayisis. Tyson fights were probably enough to make everyone's favorite fight faker Vince Mcmahon of the WWF leap up out of his reclining office chair and scream "OH MY GOD IS THAT FAKE!"

  2. some guys went down because they didn't wanna get hurt, trust me i doubt michael johnson and golota faked their fractures after fighting with tyson.

  3. you must have watched the Tyson-Seldon fight......

  4. I would believe that if you show footages that you fought Tyson yourself

  5. yeah you must have not watched all the fights and he wasnt managed by don king for his entire career

  6. The biggest evidence of Mike Tyson's power is his amateur footage. He's knocked out numerous fighters in the amateurs and they had headgear on.

As for his professional career, you can see mouthpieces flying left and right so it's hard to fake that. Another thing too is that many of Tyson's opponents when down head first; it's not a favorable way to fall if your conscious.

  7. the only tyson ko i question is bruce seldon tyson was about done by then anyway other than that i dought very much any of tysons kos were fixed

  8. i dont know what fights or punches you seen, but you sound like a fool

  9. There was pnly one doggy one and that was Seldon and he was so scared I think he just lay down. Other than that, jump in the ring with a heavy weight and see how hard those shots actually are. Good night nurse!!!

  10. All of them were real.

  11. Tyson fought before King took over, and even though he had many set ups he really did knock people out.

If you look at the slow motion replay some of the hits that in real speed did not look good, looked very good.

I doubt that most of his knockouts were faked.

  12. I was sitting next to former LH champ Kid Chocolate Guthrie when Bruce Seldon took a dive against Mike Tyson.  As soon as he saw it, Guthrie practically jumped out of his chair yelling at the tv screen.  Tyson dropped Seldon, and as Seldon was falling, Mike went for one more, Seldon reacted to the additional punch, got up and pretended that he couldn't stand.  I don't think it was a much as a fix as it was Seldon quitting.  I'm fairly sure that some of Tyson's early opponents did the same.  It didn't make any difference, but the opponents quit rather than get hurt.
