  1. They don't increase hunger, but some people who use them in alot of foods and drinks can believe they can eat more because they are cutting more sugars out of there diet. And this can lead to overeating.

  2. I have heard they do. Aspartame definitely does for me! The stuff also gives me a headache if I have too much. I don't know if this happens for everyone but I avoid it now.

Splenda doesn't seem to make me hungry and if I have one or two I am fine. Too much of it though and I get heartburn. I have it once in a while in small amounts.

I just decided that natural is best most of the time. I avoid fake stuff if I can and just have the real thing on occasion. Who knows what this c**p does to your body in the long term, anyway! I certainly don't want to be a Guinea pig!

  3. I thought Aspartame was a bacteria...

  4. Yes.

carbon monoxide - made from oxygen so its like a breath of fresh air.

  5. Nope :)

  6. no really..........................

  7. it's weird.  whenever i drink diet drinks, I do feel hungrier and tend to pig out on junk food.  Maybe it's me.  But as soon as I quit drinking diet drinks, I tend to eat better.

I personally believe that artificial sweeteners psychologically make people eat more, because maybe they tend to believe they're drinking no calories, so they can order these fries or whatever.  that's just my opinion.  I try and stay away from these sweeteners, but if I have some, it's no biggie.

  8. not really. However they remain in the brain post mortum Scary thought!
