  1. At least you spelled atheists correctly.

    As for the rest... *sigh*

I guess I could point out that many Buddhists are atheists.

  2. Not a church as such. It's a library. It has more than one book in it, so you can tell the difference.

  3. Atheism is an absence of belief in deities/gods, or any supernatural forces that could serve to guide man through life. I don't really see how they would gather in a place to discuss their disbelief of anything metaphysical...

  4. yes its called Yahoo Answers and alot of preachers there.

  5. I don't think so but maybe they should christens need to confirm there belief in God maybe Atheists should confirm there dis belief in God, I am sure there is a lot of material  they could  preach about and maybe do ungodly things etc.they could maybe have Atheists dating sights it could become a big thing ya never know..

  6. no because they don't believe in God. Even if they believed in withcraft or something they would still be called an atheist.

    so.. no

  7. no, of course not, an athiest is somebody who doesnt belive in an type of godly figure, or "thism". no offense bro, but stupid question

  8. Of course, and all the ignorant idiots in the world know that.  We also have a Bable, pray and have virgin sacrifices

  9. it's called Scientology

  10. Probably, but mostly they avoid each other.  Atheists are rugged individualists.  Like Baptists in liquor store, they pretend not to see each other.

  11. I go to Moab.

  12. No.

But my wife and I have been considering visiting the Unitarian Church, just to meet some people.  We just moved to a new town.

  13. No, why would they, they believe in no God and no religion. Why is there any use for a particular place to congregate?

  14. wow how dumb

do you know what it means to be atheist??

NO we do not have a church

    how retarded

sorry but really think about what you just said!

  15. Not that I know of

  16. No, most atheists don't have an equivalent of a church as they don't need to congregate somewhere to worship something. I am an atheist and I did attend a Unitarian Universalist church a few times as an atheist because I was looking for a group to do community service projects with. They were fine with my atheist/humanist stance and welcomed me to join their service project volunteer work. I embraced their general philosophy and values and was invited by some members and went out of respect. Not quite the same thing though people are thinking of when they say do atheists have a church I think. I am aware that there is a small number of atheists that formed a sort of equivalent as place to meet with like minded people to discuss philosophy, values and ethics, provide a venue and community for life transition rituals like non religious funerals, weddings, etc. , and to provide a group place to provide moral lessons and ethical discussions for children and enable them in a peer setting. Its not really a church to me though as to me the definition of a church is a place people go to worship something or practice a religion which they don't do. I guess it semantics.

  17. No, not traditionally.

  18. Yes, definitely. But if you're not an atheist, I can't tell you.

  19. Some do

  20. counterintuitively, there are some freethinker and unitarian churches that cater toward people who are not religious. they are not really churches in the sense you would think though. it's more like they offer the social aspects of church without the religious worship.

  21. I wouldn't think so because a church is usually made up of people with the same or common values and beliefs. All that atheists share in common is the belief there is no god(s). Other then that they believe whatever they want. You have to remember atheism is not a religion.

  22. Being atheists they don't go to church, but they all don't-go to the same church.  Some don't go to the Catholic church, some don't go to the Protestant church.  They all stay home, but they are staying home from different churches. Really hardcore atheists will stay home from more than one church but that's a lot of work.

  23. Something kind of like a church.. It's not necesarilly called a church

  24. Simply put... they don't =/

Because they don't have any belief in God.

So why would they even have a place of worship if they don't have anything to worship to begin with?

If a person was antagonistic... then that would be a different story because they don't believe in God but they aren't denying his whole entire existence at the same time but doesn't mean they wont go to church.

  25. No as why would someone need to go to Church to worship nothing. (In case you didn't know, an Atheist is someone who believes in nothing what-so-ever) Church is to worship at the end of the day.

  26. They belong to the church of the dead.

  27. No, atheism is not a religion. It is an idea of there being no higher power. Atheists don't go to church or worship anything.

  28. Wow you are an idiot.  But keep searching, you'll find it

  29. No, they don't have that kind of discipline.

They lazily sit at their computers, bashing innocent questions such as this and blame other faiths for any transgressions they may have had with people in a former time....

  30. no, an atheist is a person with a lack of belief in religion, so they really have nothing to do with it. i dont find your question offensive at all, but thanks for saying that (:

  31. Yes their called catholic !
