Do atheletes get paid?

What do they live on? Are they paid a salary so that they can compete full time?

well it depends wich sport if its something like baseball basketball soccer football or skateboarding then yes you get paid alot but for sports like tennis hockey or la cross you do get paid but not as much.

well it depends. professional athletes like people in the NBA and NFL get paid, but people in the Olympics are amatures. they get paid from endorsing products like being a spokes person for say.. Sport Check. they get paid to use certain products and they get paid for doing commercials. well i hope i helped! =)
