Do austrailians say "booger" or do they have another slang word for them?

The "austrailian" character on House said it and it sounded weird.

  1. This is Aussies' slang for booger.

    Bush oyster : nasal mucus, booger

    (They are not talking about the US President Bush, heehee!)

    By saying Bush, this is what they are referring to : the hinterland, the Outback, anywhere that isn't in town.


  2. Sorry I don't know about Australia, but you reminded me of this.

    I like the Hawaiian word "hannabadda."  spelling?  They talk about "hannabadda days" meaning "the halcion days of youth."  It literally means those good old days when your nose ran all the time.  ;-)

  3. Bogey is the equivalent term (makes golf funny)... but usually you would just say snot. A few people might say booger these days though
