Question:

Do avatars influence you answer?

Im pretty new to all this Inter-web malarky and am wondering how much influence an avatar makes on your answer and your impression of the person as a whole.

Is it better to hide or should we come out and show ourselves warts and all :o)

  1. yes and i also believe the world is hollow and filled with cheese! if the question is serious i go to profile and see what questions they have asked and answered and their age and involvement! then read into the question itself, then and only then do i answer to the best of my abilities given to me by GOD!

  4. I don't usually bother with non avatar users.  I feel like I'm getting a sense of who the person is when I see a pic, even if its fake.

  6. It doesn't for me! But I'm more likely to answer questions from people who have an avatar or pic... looks more friendly!

  7. I choose an answer which I think is the best, no matter what the piccy or avi is. Just answer the best way you can and hopefully you'll get the 10 points, the best things to do are: Be polite, be friendly, be nice, be honest and don't use swear words, then you'll be fine, I'm sure, good luck! :)

  9. Generally, Avatars don't influence me.But I use avatars & IDs

    as a reference to whom I'm speaking.I try to remember both so

    I'll know how this individual responds to others,to keep a running

    tally of the JERKS.....

  11. Dont think it matters, since most are generic anyway.  And I dont actually believe the real pics are real.  + Those seem somewhat vain to me.
