I dunno...It just dawned on me.

Ive never seen a sweating baby or toddler.

If under the circumstances, would a baby sweat?

  1. Yes, I know this baby got sick after she was born from being in the sun.

  2. Yep! They sweat when they are hot or when they have a fever....also when they cry really hard, the same as adults!

  3. i have both a toddler sister and a baby brother, and no, i've never seen either one of them sweat .

  4. Yes ty do, plenty. But we as adults/parents tend to spend a lot of time making sure they are not too warm or cold so you don't see it often! My youngest son sweats on his head a lot after his afternoon nap and gets some fairly hilarious hairstyles due to it!!!

  5. yes

  6. yes they do. my 5 month old does all the time

  7. Yes, they do.  Both of mine were very hot-natured and sweated like crazy.  Everyone was after me to bundle them up, but unless it was really cold I dressed them in lighter clothes.

  8. I have a 2 month old and she sweats but it's not the dripping down on the face sweat. I think with toddlers you might see that.

  9. yes, how else would they keep cool , would they pant like dogs, no, they sweat

  10. Yes they do sweat.  I have a nephew who use to sweat when he was a baby more then any other kid I have ever saw.

  11. Yes, they sweat, but not as much as older children and adults do.  Their sweat glands are not developed enough.

  12. yes they do.  Usually babies/toddlers arent out in the heat so that is why you dont usually see them sweat, but they do

  13. yes to both.  My 2-yr old gets very sweaty when he plays outside and is running, running, running.  My baby gets sweaty when he's hot too, like when he's in his car seat and the a/c hasn't quite got everything cooled yet (my oldest did too when he was a baby ~ same scenario).
