  1. I'm not fully qualified to answer this, but from my observations at my bank located inside my nearest supermarket I will say this.  A vault such as I believe you're asking about complete with safe deposit boxes etc. NO but that do have a large securely anchored to the floor etc. safe.  This is usually behind the office with a secure touch key lock access which is were you will see your teller going if he/she doesn't have the amount of cash you are asking for available at their position.  But if you're looking for a safe deposit box than you will need a brick and morter stand alone bank building.  Which for me would be the next town about 7 miles away.

The supermarket branch can handle most any other banking business you might have beyond that.

    Hope this helps.

  2. Banks at supermarkets do not have vaults for this reason. Only a limited amount of cash is on hand at any time, and at the end of the day the Wells Fargo truck comes and picks up any remaining funds.

  3. it depends on the bank. I worked in 2 banks and one in walmart the other in target. The target did not but walmart does but it is small and carries no more than 10,000 max. don't rob them it to the main bank after no more than $1,500.
