  1. yes they live in ponds lakes rivers.......... just not in salt water that is a different kind of bass i think it is sea bass

  2. That depends on where you live. Up in the very northern states and out in the west there aren't as many bass. In the south, midwest, and a good bit of the east coast there are plenty of bass. If it is a new man made pond it probably won't have bass unless they were stocked in it though.

  3. theres bound to be a few, but the only way to kno is if u go and get a texas or carolina rig with a fake worm and go cast out a little, or u car go out and see  if they jump at the bugs, ull kno a bass wen u see it

  4. some do... depends on what species of bass your fishing for.

  5. bass do live in ponds cause i have ponds all around my house and i fish them but it just depends who owns it and if somehas put some bass in there. But there probably is.The best bait to use in ponds is bottom worm.Use redbug worm it works the best.

    Hope I Helped! :)

  6. Some of my best bass fishing has been in farm ponds. If the pond has bullhead and bluegill, it can support bass but that doesn't mean any are there. One way to find out though is to take you favorite bass lures and try it out.

  7. Yes.  Bass live in ponds.  Private Ponds are the bodies of water that have the highest chance of producing a big bass actually.  Bass live in almost all bodies of water besides the ocean obviously.  I have caught bass in a pond no bigger than 20 x 20.  So dont listen to these people i live up north and there are bass in almost every pond around.  Even if you didnt stock it there is a good chance they are in there.  Go try it out.

  8. I live in the Chicago burbs and there's lots of ponds all over my area.I've had better luck at some than others. The only way to tell for sure is keep trying to fish for them or ask people if you them fishing there. They may not all have bass though.Be sure to catch and release so if there are some they stay there and breed more.

  9. I'm onboard with Jason H

Many small ponds are overlooked and actually hold some nice bass..just remember to get permission to fish in them!!!
