In my backyard there are swamps kinda... like there was a pond, a really disgusting one not like sewer but like moss and mud.. you know. Now its flooded right up to my property and I was wondering if bass would originally live in the pond, if they did would they swim to the new flooded parts? Its about a foot or 2 deep i guess haven't measured it. there are lots of frogs, tons of cover like trees and stumps (beaver) and baby ducks I guess.

  1. It's possible. Why don't you give it a try? Hey, you may be surprised at what you catch. Good luck!

  2. Well first off largemouth can live pretty much in any type of body of water. But you can only find out if you try it.  I would wait till it drys up and there is only the little pond so they would be concentrated.  2 feet can hold bass but wont let them get big.  Try fishing it someday because sounds like theres plenty of food.

  3. No theres little madtoms and stuff like that though that are about the size of your pinky though
