Do bats get fleas?

Question

we have bats. many many bats.they have always lived here and are welcome as long as they stay outside.but my problem is my dogs are infested with fleas.no matter what i do they fleas come back.i was wondering if the bats could possibly be the reason we have such a flea population?

probly but they groom them selves like evrey second of the day

Bats need to keep themselves extremely clean to fly and therefore groom themselves daily. They host no more parasites than other animals, and parasites that do afflict bats are very specialized and rarely pose problems to humans.
