Do beardies burmint in the summer?

i just took my beardie out of the hosiptal.i had since a baby he is 2yrs old. the doctors told me he is impacted with calcium sand.they gave me medicine for him.so far he moved his bowels once.now he stays laying down all day, doing nothing.as of this morning he foamed and vomitted a little..need all the advice you can give me..

  1. Burmating generally happens in the winter, when the temps go down.

    Right now your dragon is sick, so he has no energy. If he is foaming/throwing up, I'd call your vet and ask for advice. This isn't a common thing when dealing with impaction.

    Are you supplementing calcium, vitamins? Is he eating again? There could be a lot more to his sickness you do not know about. Are you going to a reptile specialist, or just a normal vet?

  3. hes not buminting. hes sick. like when people are sick, they dont feel good, and dont move around a lot. if hes had bowel movements then the medicine is working. and i hope your not going to use sand anymore..............
