  1. Didn't you see Bee movie???  Of course they do!  haha

  2. probably not, they just gotta protect the hive, its their instinct so they probably dont care what happens

  3. Maybe but their needs is less than the need of the whole colony.

Bees would sacrifice everything to make their colonies prosper :)

  4. Probably not.   Evolution tends to keep things on a need-to-know basis :)

It doesn't matter whether they know or not - by inflicting a sting, the worker bees are protecting the queen.  Her genetics are the ones being passed on, so protecting her is the only thing that matters.

  5. Bees don't "know" anything in the sense that we know things.  They respond automatically, according to their nature.

  6. They are just following their instinct, so they are probably unaware.

  7. most do or they die the second time they sting someone then they really do die

  8. no i dont think so and its not bees that die is it?

I thought it was wasps that die :S

  9. No one can KNOW what a bee "knows", or any other animal for that matter.

They sting to protect themselves or their hive.  I doubt if they care what happens to them if they do what they're supposed to do to protect the species.
