  1. I kept the same mixture in my tank with no problem..Beta's will attack each other but mine left my other fish alone, even when the guppies had babies.

  3. The tetras may actually come after the betta. They can't resist a long flowing tail to nip at. Be careful with guppies, though. Some bettas may attack the male guppies because of their long tail, mistaking them for another male betta. I know my betta is more accepting than others. He plays with albino corys (small catfish), he slightly bullied my harlequin rasboras (then he left them alone) and ignores my silver hatchetfish. It all depends. You could get the most peaceful betta on the planet, or the nastiest. You can't really tell.

  4. I had a Beta in the tank with a few goldfish and couple tetras. They did alright.....The beta didn't fight them but he did hava an attitude and bullied all the others a little bit. If you decide to put them all together just  introduce him slowly and watch. Every once in a while I would have to take the beta out and put him by himself he eventually learned that if he was being mean to the others I would "isolate" him. Good Luck!!

  5. betas usually attack things

    with long tails.

    the tetras will be fine,

but its a risk putting them in

    with the guppies.

    every beta is different.
