Do birds die in mid flight or do they land to cark it?

The problem is that nobody knows when you are going to die.

The bird might be flying somewhere several hundred feet

in the air and have a heart attack in mid flight then fall to

the ground and bury itself if the soil is soft enough.

A good but strange question.

Most older birds are taken out of the equation by predators

such as cats or foxes.

When they ram into glass I'm pretty sure they die mid-flight...sorry, morbid :P
