  1. No way! They need the extra hours to build a nest, lay eggs, hatch and to feed the babies. Then the rest of the season they are rebuilding their own body and molting in new feathers getting ready for the next winter season. To the it is the Barren season, since it is so hard for them to feed in the winter.


  2. what i do know about birds (and it comes from a good source), is that they do not like the rain and rainy days are when they get tired the most due to they have to look for a another home , maybe in a bushier tree, or in the roof of a house, etc., where they and their little ones can keep dry.

    mothers cannot afford to be wet and not able to fly and protect the kids.

    so, they do work a lot harder and get more tired on rainy days than in sunny days!
