Do birds have dreams?

Question

i have a lil pet parakeet about 6 months old,

last night it was sleeping in its cage when all of a sudden it started breathing heavily and then, all of a sudden, screamed out "CHIRP!!!"

and then it went right back to sleep.

wtf??

I'm not sure but sometimes I see birds sleep and they seem to dream about something..

Yes, they do just like other animals too. They are like humans and can see or imagine things.
