Do black people in Canada make soul food also?

  1. If you have the right background and skill, anyone can make soul food. It's all in the state of mind.

I am a former chef and live in Toronto, and they do make a type of soul food, most of the African-Canadian populations is either West Indian or from Northwest or West Africa, so you can get Jamaican, Trindadian, Nigerian, Ghanaian, Somali and Ethioipan and other foods and there are a number of grocery stores here now for the food stuffs.

    We do have a percentage of U.S African Americans here and they do make it in there own homes, we sell all the foods need to make there fav dishes, but mostly it is a variety here, not just one kind.
