  1. I have a dwarf Russian hamster and she is perfectly content but i make sure i play with her often so she does not become lonely!  I would never but two hamsters together because they will become territorial and that may become fatal! Hope i helped!

  2. By saying black russian dwarf hamster, are you referring to a fully black fur hamster.I am confused becoz dwarf hamsters do not come in full black fur (rarely found in dwarf campbells), they come only in grey with black specks. Black fur is more common in syrians. Can you send me a photo or something? I am curious to see your black russian dwarf.

It is a myth that dwarfs have to be kept together. Do not keep dwarfs together until they are from the same litter and they are of the same age. Keeping dwarfs from different litters and different age groups might work out sometimes but in many cases, there has been vicious fighting and even death.

But if you are using a split cage, then you can put dwarfs on either side but not in the single cage unless they are from the same litter.

  3. I wouldnt ever put two hamsters together cause it is highly likely they will fight and when hamsters fight it really turns fatal and one will most likely get killed so i would just keep it at one!
