Do blind people have dreams? If so, what do they "see"?

...mainly referring to those who have been blind since birth.

yes blind people dream . whay not? light does not go to the brain it is the nerve impulse that foes to the brain that may be through the optic nerve or other tactile audible clues. once there is mental perception of different stimulus than they can dream .

ACTUALLY ITS THE BRAIN THAT DREAMS NOT THE EYES. SO BLINDE CAN DREAM .........

I Believe blind people hear things in there dreams.. I dont think they see things.  Its a totally different world for them.  I dont think you could truley understand their world unless you were blind.

I have heard that they have auditory dreams...

(they dream in sound.)

But I wouldn't know because I'm not blind. I have always wondered though.
