  1. yes to numbers each state is different tennessee requires them on the very front large visible letters

  3. well not exactly a liscence plate but a registration, you can get them in the same place where you got your boat or liscence for your car.

  4. Boats have either a state registration number usually displayed on the forward side of the hull port and starboard or an official number designated by the USCG affixed to the boat in the bilge area. Not sure about NZ.

  5. Thats what the numbers are on the sides of watter crafts.
