Do boys get punished more than girls and are punishments different?

I am a boy and I have brothers and sisters me and my brothers get spanked but my sisters do not why is that?

well, for me it was the other way around! me and my sister would get in trouble for everything! and my brother could do whatever he wanted! if he did get in trouble they'd take his skate board away for like a day, with me and my sis, we'd get a spanking, have to clean the entire house, and get grounded! so not fair! but everyone's parents are different.

Prob cause your a dude and your supposed to be "stronger" Your luckyy though my when both of my brothers were my age their curfew was like 12, and mine is 11 cause of all the retarded rapists who can't get any action in bed so they decide to go after little girls & boys like freaks. But my brothers do get grounded more than I do. But that's prob cause they're idiots.

for one its the universal perception that boys are hard and rough and should be treated likewise to bring out the men in them could be a reason....another  one depends on the parent....yet another reason is what u get spanked for
