Do boys like Edward Cullen (from the twilight series) really exsist?

i dont mean the whole vampire/immortal thing! i just mean, are some boys really that perfect, or am i expecting too much from people?

well i dont think that they exist in that sense eg replica of edward cullen but i do think that there is someone out there who is that for you! do you know what i mean kinda like a soul mate or some one who is a match for you and what you do and who you will love. i also think that there are different kinds of love like staying on the examples from twilight series look it how bella loves edward and jacob in two differnt ways. and she made her choice on wich way felt better for her. i mean if you were a character of bella and you had not met edward only jacob you would have been perfectly happy with him and then if you were established with him and a character of edward came along chances are that you would have stayed with your jacob and loved him with all your heart hoping that the edward could be your brother like she wished of jacob. and everyone wants something different like you want your edward some people want there jacob but some want emmet and i want my seth! (but i would also be happy with a jasper emmet edward ect)

i dont know if i am making sense to you but that is just what i think and i am sure that you will find your edward cullen!!!!

No!  And would you honestly want him to?  He is in no way romantic.  He's a stalker and mentally and emotionally abusive.  He's overbearing.  I realize that you all think it's romantic because "he lyk cares soooooooo much about her it's lyk wow lyk OMJ OMJ OMJ" but it's not! It's scary and creepy.  Besides which, Edward has very little personality and I would find him boring.  And isn't it the little flaws in people that we love the most?

My dear, Edward was not perfect. He was self deprecating, obsessive, controlling, and at times, depressing. Its his Chivalry that draws young ones like yourself, and yes, guys that are chivalric do exist. My husband, for example, is the epitome of Chivalry. He opens doors for me, helps me out of the car, etc *And his name is Eduardo*....go figure!. Please don't base who you date on a guy that is fantasy. Find out what perfect means to you. Perfection is in the eyes of the interpreter. My husband plays war craft all day long and likes PDA, and at times I cant stand it, but its his flaws that draw me to him like a moth to a flame. Don't love a creation in someones head, the real thing is SO much better.

PS... My Eduardo...would never stop me from seeing my friends, or force me to do anything. Please young one...if a guy treats you like Edward in that book treated Bella...get away. Its not love it's obsession and posession.

I mean you really want a perfect guy? I don't. I want a real man, with flaws and personality. Edward is just a fictional character and don't get me wrong but if the girls are expecting a guy like Edward we're doomed. Seriously. Don't expect perfection, expect love. A funny guy that loves you for who you are, with who you can fight and hug, and kiss and even make out. That respect your flaws and who you can talk about whatever you want. You are not perfect, nobody is so don't expect something you can't give.

Of course, Edward wasn't perfect and I'm not looking for someone to be perfect but I just wish guys were more romantic like Edward. He just has this unfailing love for Bella that I imagine is pretty hard to find in real people.
