Do braces hurt alot?When you get them on, or after they're on.Do you need surgery for them?If so, what kind?

they dont hurt they just feel really uncomfortable for the first few days. you dont need surgery, they put these little rubber balls between your back teeth called "spacers". it creates space for the metal piece that goes onto your back teeth, it holds the wire that goes threw the braces. the orthodontist puts the brackets or w/e theyre called onto your teeth by glueing them onto your teeth. then he puts the wire threw the brackets and wha la! braces. not painful.

braces dont really hurt. its not a surgery they just glue the brackets on and then the wire gets put on and tied with the colourful rubber bands. its hurts for a day or 2 after each adjustment but its not that bad. getting them put on doesnt hurt, or shouldnt hurt at all. just eat soft foods for the period that it does hurt but its not major pain or anything its more of and annoying pain. hope this helps
