Our company organized a lunch at a restaurant few days ago. One of our Indian coworkers joined us at our table. He had a ham sandwich with omelette for lunch - I was surprised by that because I thought Indian people are against eating meat. He also mentioned that he was from the southern part of India and that he was a brahmin. So is it true that Indians are actually open to eating meat and animal products, especially brahmins from the south of India?
