Question:

Do brahmin people from India eat meat?

Our company organized a lunch at a restaurant few days ago. One of our Indian coworkers joined us at our table. He had a ham sandwich with omelette for lunch - I was surprised by that because I thought Indian people are against eating meat. He also mentioned that he was from the southern part of India and that he was a brahmin.

So is it true that Indians are actually open to eating meat and animal products, especially brahmins from the south of India?

And in every case drugs were involved ,,,

  2. My friend is a brahmin and she eats everything except beef and pork but when she visits India, she is a total vegetarian.  Looks like your friend is also Americanized.

  3. I am a seafood & fish eating GSB!  Not sure about other Brahmins, but GSBs do eat seafood.
