Do briefs really reduce your sperm count?

I've switched to boxers and have noticed I'm more aroused most of the time and it feels like I need to relieve myself more often. Are my testes producing more sperm now that they aren't all tight in briefs?

  1. Principally yes, but not in all cases.I have problems with my s***n quality and that is why I started to wear only boxers. Before I liked briefs. Unfortunately my s***n is not any better than when I used to wear briefs. The latest s***n analysis results tells it very clearly. So, at least in my case boxers don´t help me producing more sperm. Quality has not improved either.

  2. I know a lot of brief wearers who have kids.  But even if it does reduce a little bit, it's very temporary - only a few weeks.

  3. yea

  4. Your s*****m is the source that controls the temperature of your testes. Sperm will die if it's too hot or too cold, therefore, when you are hot, your s*****m tends to hang lower and when you are cold, they are closer to your body. When you wear briefs, you're forcing your testes to be close to your body, and thus, temperature cannot be regulated and perm will die. Wearing boxers allow this process of temperature regulation to go about its natural course.

  5. kool but sorry guys no it doesnt. yes you will feel more aroused but producing more sperm.no. your testes will produce the same amount all the time till you get older. its an urban legend.

  6. Testicles produces more sperms under cool temperatures, that is also why they distend when its hot to loose heat to the surround and contract when its cold because its their right atmosephere to operate.

so the breifs cause their environ to be warm than necessary and thus may not fuction very well.

  7. Yes, boxer are less tight there for more sperm is able to be produce. When you where tight underwear such as briefs sperm can produce as much because the s*****m is not relaxed. But, it naturally to feel more horny and feel like you have to relive your self more often. I had the same experience when I switch to boxers.

  8. Yes they do, briefs put pressure on your balls whitch create the sperm  so it makes less, if you want more sperm wear boxers

  9. Yes, boxers are much better for sperm production. Your probably getting more aroused by the fact that your parts are freely hanging than the actual sperm production.

  10. the only way that any type of underwear can reduce your sperm count is if it is very tight and worn as the everyday thing. You new arousal is due to you letting your junk be free in those boxers.

  11. In an average, healthy male, the amount of sperm reduction caused by wearing boxers is insignificant.  It takes 2-3 days after switching to boxers for sperm production to go back to normal levels.  Switching to boxers to enhance production is usually only mentioned for couples having trouble conceiving.  So, yes, it reduces sperm production, but not enough to usually matter and that reduction is only temporary.

  12. Yes. Supposedly because briefs keep your testes closer to your body, which keeps them too hot for optimal sperm production. Once you wear boxers they can get away from your body, cool off a little, and make more sperm.

  13. Apparently yes it does.

  14. Yes. Testes need to be below core body temperature to produce a 'normal' quantity sperm - that's why they're located where they are. Briefs bring them closer to the body, and so increase temperature, reducing your sperm count.

This doesn't explain your increased arousal though. Maybe because there's more rubbing?
