As a British person myself,I fail to understand why,as someone who is not British,that you take such an interest in something that does not concern you.Why don't you do yourself a favour and stop poking your nose into something that has nothing to do with you and does not affect you?

Are you British (if seems you're not from your question)? If not it's none of your business. Anyway taking into account the amount made for the treasury by: 1. The Crown estates, 2. The tourism brought in by having a Royal family and 3. The goodwill generated by having a politically neutral Head of State - we'd be stupid to to get rid of them.
