  1. They can help, but may give you some problems. Google web accelerator is pretty good.


  2. Most of these add on programs are just Hype.

    Make sure you cleanup your Browser History and temporary files.

  3. In most cases the extra load on the machine SLOWS the downloads. Also many of these have back door access for junk entering your machine.
