Do bunnies and hamsters get along??

Question

i just got a domestic rabbit from the pet store and ive had my hamster for about a year.. would it be okay if i put them in the same cage?

it really depends on the rabbit cause it is so much larger than the hamster. i have a friend who keeps guinea pigs and rabbits together and the rabbits dominate everything. it doesn't seem like an ideal living situation for the guinea pigs. plus, bunnies and hamsters are so different, its probably not a good idea.

no of course not. the bunny would kill the hamster. keep them in seperate cages!!!

It would be very very dangerous for the hamster if you kept them together- one kick, even from a small rabbit, could kill a hamster instantly, even if it was an accident. They also have completely different diets. They will both be much happier living with a friend of their own species :)

NO! you cant do that they have different needs and the rabbit will kill the hamster!

No way! Hamsters like to be alone hamsters don`t like to be with other hamsters never mind a bunny!

No i don't think that would be a good idea to be honest. Because of their size difference they could fight and your hamster would probably get very scared. I think you should just keep them appart in their seperate cages and enjoy quality time with your furry animals. I do! I hope this helped

No, the bunny could scare the hamster or accidentally hurt it.  That wouldn't be smart...I read that you can't have guinea pigs and bunnies together for that reason and piggies are bigger!

Of course not. They are different species and could severely hurt each other. They have different dietary needs and do not speak the same language.
