  1. doubt it!

  2. No, if you believe this from your student, you still need to learn a few things aboiut kids.

  3. My father's worked for public transportation for over 30 years and he still gets lost.  If a driver is given a new route or if he/she is filling in for someone they can get lost.

Drivers can lost for many reasons

    Due to traffic detours

    New Route

    Weather changing routes

    Accidents

Usually the dispatcher and the driver communicates and the driver can easily find a new route or get some redirection.  This is the job of the dispatcher.  Also, the new buses are equipped with GPS systems.

Unless the driver was new and the dispatcher was new... it could be just Murphy's law that this happen.

So, my answer it is a possibility but it is slim.

  4. well sometimes they make a mistake

(happen to me -the driver was suppose to go west on the freeway but ended going east instead! and then he ends having an accident as well (whoops wasn't his day and this wasn't  even Friday the 13th (it was the day before Friday the 13th)

and this driver has been driving for over 15 years

  5. if the driver is given a new route that he or she is not familiar with then that's a problem. I haven't seen that in NYC but some driver in other cities outside NYC have gotten lost once in a while when assigned a new route.

  6. Could happen if the bus driver is driving a particular route for the very first time or filling in for another driver.

  7. At first yes, since they dont know where they are going, but after awhile they will know where to go since its the same route. If this happens all the time with same driver then there is a problem

  8. ........................................... ARE YOU ASKING US....sorry but seriously, why is that little info supposed to answer all our questions, and plus thats just a student, all students lie...& iam telling the truth, but seriously, i cant tell you to blame your studnet, that shows that YOUR an irrasponsible teacher and dont try to s***w everyone over plz, i hate teachers like that....and you never know the true storry, i would just let it slide

  9. If it was a sub, ... yes its possible, ...

but normally any type of cab, or bus driver does not get lost, they are being paid to drive... thats what they do...

possible chance the kid is telling a fib.

    73% the student is lying...

  10. Yes, it happens.  Drivers are sick or go on vacation or quit. Replacements aren't always familiar with that area of the city.  Unless this student regularly makes up excuses, I'd believe him.

  11. lol yes it does. for drivers that aren't from the area probably. you'd think they would hire somebody born and raised in that city so they knew what the c**p was going on huh?
