I heard that if you put one next to a computer screen, they pick up some of the energy and its better for your eyes.

is this true?

  1. There are many theories that plants absorb radiation, and I know that computers give off radiation, so it couldn't hurt to put a cactus near the computer.  I haven't heard that they are better for the eyes though.

  2. Absolutely! They're not as effective as a tinfoil hat as far as preventing the aliens from reading your brain waves, but a good cactus is a nice place to start.

Await further orders from the mothership until then.

  3. I had herd that computers are metal and flat, and therefore best balanced by something woody and pointed.

I dont think it helps your eyes, it is just good interior design.
