  1. Yes some alarms that are not factory installed are kind of sensitive. You are fine though but if it keeps going off to much take it to the shop because it will make your battery go dead.

  2. ya some turn on by itself during thunders or sounds of heavy explosions..

  3. no

  4. yes, sometimes they can go off by itself, or maybe its the wind

  5. if its cheap then yea get it checked... cause it shouldnt be going off like that it can cause u to have  a heartattack

  6. heavy winds and earthquakes can trigger them off.  I would say that maybe someone bumped into your car... they just have to walk into it.

  7. Car alarms can be triggered by a loud deep (or low frequency) sounding motorcycle when it passes close by to your parked vehicle.  I've seen it happen in my apartment complex at least two times.  If you have a tilt switch of some kind, the alarm can be triggered by teenage pranksters pushing down on a fender to make the vehicle bounce and rock.  Then they run, hide, and laugh as they watch you come out to wonder what has happened.  (Seen this once).

  8. Thunder can trigger them, cats or squirrels jumping on your car, people walking too near.

  9. There's different sensitivities for all alarms. Half the time it only takes a kick to the wheel/rim to set it off. That's how jackers/thieves take one way to find out if you have an alarm. There's also sound/pressure/tilt sensitive where your car only has to bounce up and down as if someone sat down anywhere on the car or maybe a cat jumping on it or flattening your tire to lifting the car up..Or when someone has walked pass and it will lightly give a warning alarm by beeping once or twice. But depending on your type of alarm either you had a friend or co. install it, they should tell you what all will set it off in every sensitive way.

But in my case, Breaking windows, kick to the wheels and jacking up the car set's off alarms here all day everyday where I live so Those would've been the obvious.

  10. Some car alarms are extremely sensetive and even a bird or small animal will set them off, or another car passing close will sometimes do it. If it keeps happening maybe go back and see if they can adjust the sensitivity setting. Your neighbours will like you better!

  11. i think there is some problem, b'coz it doesnt turn on by itself, check whts the problem.......

    have a nice time.

  12. pretty much. That's why they are so d**n ANNOOYING

  13. Maybe it was an animal or strong gust of wind, it could be really sensitive.
