some have rental cars that they offer at reduced prices.

but more often than not they don't care.

depends on the dealer.  usually nicer, luxury car dealerships will provide a loaner while they are repairing yours.  when you call to schedule your repair, ask for a loaner.  dealerships/service depts. that do offer loaners, only loan out if you have scheduled ahead of time - so that they may have one available for you. call ahead and ask/make sure they will have one.

Some do and some don't. I work at a place that will give loaner cars to anyone. We have 65 loaners on hand. Many places have none at all. Others have a few. You need to check with your particular dealership.
