  1. yes the carbonation is really bad for your stomach, and can cause indegestion, and can make you more hungary

  2. Yes--carbonation is from a gas added to the soda--or there would be no fizz----open bottles or cans will lose the carbonation--and you have NO fizz after a while. The belly will inflate from the ingested gas--expands the empty belly--now without food to fill the empty bloated portion of the belly--you might feel hungry. Soda is poison---the flavorings and colorings are all chemicals---and the sweeteners are absolutely the worst for your system. Years of soda will have serious physical sideaffects--too many to mention. Drink water or teas or something without all the chemicals. Do yourself a favor--save your teeth--save your body---drink healthy liquids--read the labels and avoid the stuff with names you cannot pronounce.

  3. Yes, they expand it. But as the first reply says it, it's not by making you more hungry.

  4. I don't know about expanding you're stomach, but its not healthy one way or the other.

  5. Yes, they expand your stomach, but it doesn't work the way you think.

The carbonation from soda escapes in your stomach just like in the can, and it does inflate your stomach, just like a fleshy balloon.  But your stomach is designed to stretch, and it just contracts back down as soon as you burp or otherwise process the gases, there is no permanent stretching unless you SEVERLY over-consume on a regular basis.

And stretching the stomach does not make you feel hungry.  In fact, it's the exact opposite.  When the topmost section of the stomach expands, that triggers the nervous system signal which stops the feeling of hunger.  It's the principle behind gastric bypass and lap-band surgeries.

  6. no but if u drink to much it starts to eat away at ur stomach the meat inside and eventually will cause an issue

  7. I don't drink pop....only water and an occasional juice or skim milk

  8. Yes it stretches your belly.

Thats why you see those alcoholic dudes with huge bellies but no fat anywhere else. Lots of beer carbonation stretching there belly. And of course over  eating

  9. They make you hungry but not because of the bubbles. Because of the sugar which is a stimulant. You peak in energy as the sugar hits you, but then fall really quickly as you metabolise the sugar. Then you end up tired and lacking in energy -  which you perceive as hunger and think you need to eat. See?

    The bubbles make you f**t!

  10. i think so

  11. umm i heard that before but im not sure they say the gas in the soda makes your stomach fatter

  12. yes. you get bloated if you drink a carbonated drink. it is not dangerous though, except for your teeth. if you like having your own teeth you might not wanna over indulge in fizzy drinks.

  13. It expands everything on you.

    Try diet soda.

  14. There is a temporary expansion but it doesn't last long unless you drink loads and then it tends to supress the appetite rather than making you more hungry.

  15. Yes its true and all the sugar too!

  16. I finda soda makes me feel bloated. Especially (ironically) diet soda.

  17. weird question====yay 2 points for me.

  18. I think the lack of exercise makes your stomach fat or too much beer.
