Do carrots really help you see in the dark?

if so when can i start needing less lights? i need to save electricity bills the price is disturbing me

  1. I see well in the dark, and I eat carrots often. They have Vitamin A, but I doubt that they can work miracles. I was just born with "eyes like a cat". My sister once asked how I could rwead in the dark. She could not, but I could.


  2. nope. in terms of science i doubt. but pple did say it improves your eyesight

  3. If you have a Vitamin A deficiency, you may have poor night vision. Carrots provide beta-carotene which is almost immediately converted to vitamin A in the body and so help restore Vitamin A balance.

    If you do not have a Vitamin A deficiency, it probably does not make any difference whether or not you eat carrots

  4. it might be easier using those curly light bulbs and give the carrots to the rabbits
